Not for skiing and snowboarding
These socks have a cool design and true to size, but the material is not for friction, it's for skiing and skiing. Within an hour I could feel them rubbing my feet and legs, which other snowboard/ski socks never do. I don't think the manufacturer has ever tested them, let alone for an hour's use in the mountains. The price was good but they are useless, I would take other socks unless you like the look and wear them casually.
