Review on Cmple BILINGUAL FireWire Cable 15FT by Troy Rotermund

I hate giving a product only one star when I was clearly looking for value for money, but this cable just didn't work. I connected my DV camcorder via a 4 pin connector to my mini mac via a 9 pin connector. I was able to control the camera from the Mac but could never get it to transfer data. I suspect it was a sloppy 9 pin connection or loose wires. Thank you Revain for the hassle free return of the cable. I immediately ordered the Apple recommended cable from Belkin and it worked straight away with no problems. When it comes to sensitive, high-speed data transmission over FireWire, the quality of the cable and connector seems to matter.
