If you like Alexa, this fan is for you. but, IMHO, do you need it? seems like an exaggeration, but some people like technology. The fan is well made and has some great features. First, the height is less than 12 inches, so it is considered low profile. Ideal for 8 foot high ceilings. Two-tone blades are ideal. On the underside of the blade, the build quality is very good given the modest price. Installation was easy, but I've installed hundreds of these fans. All in all a great fan at a very competitive price, I would recommend.
