I've been hearing about these hair towels for a long time. I found it was another thing that sounded unnecessary (requires a special hair towel). Well I've been hearing about them all the time and I have long hair so I thought it might really be worth a try. Towels are supplied in a pack of two. Versatility was important to me. I wanted something I could take turns washing and washing. The towels are soft to the touch and have an interesting shape. The shape is of course related to how the towel looks on the head. There is an elastic loop and a button to ensure that the towel sits securely on your head. The first time I used a towel it was sold. I wrap my fairly long hair (about two inches below my shoulder) in a towel. Clings to the button and everything. Tight but not tight and won't fall off! Wow! The worst thing about towels is when I try to pull myself together but the towel is twirling in my hair. I also love that it keeps my hair out of my face so I can do makeup. Instead of tying my hair up, I have this towel on my head. It keeps everything in order until I'm ready to style my hair. I will also not get wet hair in the preparation. This is an amazingly useful thing that makes long wet hair less of a hassle.
