I have previously ordered a $30 racer set and this cheaper set was not the right size for an 8.6". -Chevy Small. gear bearing. This more expensive kit has the correct dimensions as well as a large handle for hammering in and holding the actuator in place. I highly recommend buying this kit over the cheaper ring and gear replacement kit as you are more likely to get the right size and the crank will help make the race straighter and easier. If you are doing an 8.6" Chevy with 10 bolts in the rear you will get this set instead of the cheaper ones, the smaller race is 2-11/16 so the ones with 65 and 74mm drivers and nothing in between won't cater for the conversion of units of measurement are suitable 68.2625 mm. I tried a cheaper set and I didn't think I could race without going a bit wrong. I chose this set to make things easier and reduce the risk of a bad installation. Incidentally, I ordered a set from the Amazon warehouse at a discounted price, which was listed as very good. However, the bolt on the handle had broken off and had to be recut, and two of the screwdrivers had significant scratches. it ended up in bad shape because it had to be repaired before it could be used. The damage was likely caused by the handle falling directly on the bolt, and the scratches were from the bolt being tightened enough to cut the metal. So be aware that conditional people may not fully test or understand important parts of such a tool by putting it in the Amazon warehouse. I think you can return it if the condition doesn't suit you, but if you don't have time, waiting for a replacement can be bad.
