Very versatile and comfortable chair

I hesitated to buy this chair for a long time. After reviewing Revain for several months, I went back and forth between a few, but finally decided to give this one a try. For starters, I'm 5'11" and about 240 pounds. I have enough room in this chair. The recline aspect is very nice, the cushion, although a little stiff at first, starts to settle and softens a bit, and the footrest is a nice addition.I use the footrest quite a bit while writing/typing and didn't notice it flexing.I find the chair comfortable but admittedly I haven't sat in a chair for more than an hour or two.a longer duration can result in classic buttock pain but seriously, you shouldn't sit that long without getting up and moving a bit!The adjustable backrest locks securely in place and the casters feel solid enough.I use a chair mat on carpet and no problems so far. Although I like the chair, my wife doesn't. She is shorter (about 5ft 4") and her feet don't touch the floor. But I attribute this to short people's problems return. :) Assembly was pretty easy, although I had some trouble getting the armrests to fit properly. Even now, the armrests flex a bit when I use them to stand up (I have bad knees, give me a break), so I'll update if anything changes in the condition of the armrests. very happy with the chair. The quality is good, it's comfortable and offers excellent support. Although it comes with a headrest and lumbar support pads attached with straps to prevent slipping, I removed them both. Personal taste but to each their own. If you are looking for a quality chair for moderate use I think this has been a great investment for me and will be for you too.
