This item is not waterproof and no brighter than the 99 cent Walmart LED light.
Not bright at all. No brighter than my 99 cent LED flashlight. But even that was enough for one trip. There is no way it can be waterproof or waterproof. A little splash and killed. Do not use on a boat or in marine environment. Water will enter the battery compartment as there is no seal to prevent this. It was mounted 6ft above the deck on a T-Top and probably had little to no spray and a week later the battery was rusting due to salt water getting into the battery compartment. Not waterproof and not waterproof. I was hoping it would take a year so I could change my clothes every year but it only took a walk.
