Not a very good range for me; not very good price

Although I use traditional joinery methods for most of my furniture, I often use blind holes for cabinetry, fixtures and fittings. It's fast, light and strong enough for many uses. The screws themselves are fine. They are self tapping and have the same square heads as the Kreg screws. These screws are galvanized and therefore intended for indoor use. In each "range" you will surely find something suitable and something unnecessary. This particular area doesn't quite suit my needs. Of the 500 screws, only 100 are 1 1/4 inches long. This is the length needed to attach the 3/4 inch material. This is probably the most common material size for the types of projects I use pocket hole carpentry on. The remaining 400 screws are for thicker or thinner material. Most screws (400) have coarse threads. This means they are designed for joining softwood or plywood. Before you buy, check what's included in this pack to ensure you're getting the right hardware for what you're building. One final note: this range at this price is not value for money. You can buy 675 Kreg screws for less.
