I put this on my little son's iPad (he's 7 years old) so to speak he hit here and there. We haven't dropped it from a great height (e.g. down a flight of stairs) but it's dropped on the floor a few times and the iPad still works great, there are no cracks in the glass and the back holds up well. You can pull it out and lean it against the table when you get tired of holding it. The armored box itself has no cracks from multiple falls, and we've had it for 9 months. Passed the test of time, I recommend buying.
