Overall a pretty good case. It has a hard plastic interior with a fairly hard/hard rubber surface. Basic design for most cases. This would be a 5 star case except they don't match very well. I put on the protective glass, clicked on the plastic and then on the outer rubber piece. I noticed that the plastic didn't fit very well, which was very annoying. Bought for my son who gave me an iPad as a present. Seems pretty solid as he dropped it several times from a standing height (3ft) and nothing broke. Washes well in the top rack dishwasher when things get particularly awkward (kids!) to get all those little crevices that feel like goo. seep in. It doesn't have a built-in screen protector, which isn't a big deal since I already had one on my iPad. The case fits perfectly on the protective film. The built-in stand is also great. A waste of money and $13.99 worth throwing in the trash. The case is larger than the iPad Air itself and too narrow to hold the device in place, and the case's right button doesn't even reach the device button to turn the screen on and off. My daughter had to slide her iPad all the way to the right to press the case button and turn the device on every time it moved to the center. Used it for a week and had a lot of complaints about it so it belongs in the trash. Wouldn't recommend it to others…

It fits my iPad Air perfectly, although as other reviews have said, it's very difficult to take the case apart to install it. However, when it's on I like that it fits snugly. nothing can fall apart and it feels sturdy and very protective. This adds a bit of weight to the iPad, but it's worth it. The stand is perfect for me. I have a tablet stand at home, but when I'm not at home it's very convenient to pull it out and the iPad sits at the desired angle. I love it and recommend it to everyone.

I ordered the iPad for my son. When it arrived (which was quick) it was almost impossible to remove the outer case. I followed the instructions, finally separating the red rubber part from the black plastic part and inserting the iPad. We buy them WHOLESALE. We have bought over 40 of these and we buy them every year. It works great and has saved us as a school thousands of dollars from broken iPad screens. We don't let an iPad leave the technical office without one. We used to pay $250-$400 for a screen replacement and the iPad wouldn't work for a week or more. In my humble opinion, this is a MUST HAVE for any iPad used by kids.

I can't comment on the durability as I just received it, but the quality is very good. Fits like a glove. The buttons are hard to find but not hard to press. My kindergarten can control the volume and press the power button. I like that the ports are closed. Our last lid had open ports. Very satisfied with the price and the quality.
