Bought for my son who gave me an iPad as a present. Seems pretty solid as he dropped it several times from a standing height (3ft) and nothing broke. Washes well in the top rack dishwasher when things get particularly awkward (kids!) to get all those little crevices that feel like goo. seep in. It doesn't have a built-in screen protector, which isn't a big deal since I already had one on my iPad. The case fits perfectly on the protective film. The built-in stand is also great. Not very bulky
