Nice design. I chose white to colorize later. For the price I expect perfection. However, there are several problems with this. There is usually a longer mark at every other 1/4 foot mark. However, the tick shown in the photo is inconsistent: the red mark means a shorter tick when it should have been longer. There are also shavings on the wood. I sent it back and got a replacement. Your replacement will have the same chip in the same place. So I think it has something to do with them keeping the part that causes them to have the same issues with all of their products. They also appear to be some sort of bubble and part of the product, but they are very small and not that noticeable from a distance. However, I expect a higher quality for the price paid. As it was my son's Christmas present I ended up just keeping it as it was too close to Christmas. Otherwise I would like to return it or get a discount on a slightly damaged product.
