Review on ๐Ÿ”ฉ Sovol Anodized Aluminum Silicone Preinstalled by Justin Miller

Adheres to screen glass - looks like it's leaking

Right out of the box, this resin jar looked better than the plastic jar that came with my Anycubic Photon Mono. The FEP film turned out to be dense, although there were scratches and dents, as well as a cloudy substance that I tried to clean with isopropyl alcohol. It remained a little cloudy and appeared a bit greasy from the bottom out, but I went ahead and did a few test prints. The first complete failure, fully adhered to the FEP film. When I tried to take the bath out of the printer it stuck to the glass of the digitizer screen and wouldn't come off - on the next try it happened again so I think there's a tiny leak somewhere and the resin is kicking out on one side something out of. If the best FEP film was correctly installed on it, that could be great, but since it only came preinstalled, it's impossible to tell if it's a design issue or just a badly installed FEP film. I noticed that the FEP is held on with far fewer screws than my original barrel, which I found odd. It was recommended as an 'must buy' as an upgrade from the plastic maker case so I wasn't thrilled due to the high expectations.
