I don't usually write much about a product, but this shoe is worth something. First let me say that I didn't get a free pair of shoes to write this review, I just decided to try them because I liked their look and the price was perfect. Now to shoes. I bought the black with white lettering thinking I can't go wrong with these colors and when I got them I was very happy with their appearance except for one thing: an extra piece of webbing that tucks behind the heel wraps. I think this detail makes the shoe look weird and to be honest I don't even know what it's for so I took a pair of scissors and cut it off. Shoes now look stylish and ordinary. I wore them to work for a few days and the firmness of the shoe started to drop making it easy to get your foot in and out without having to bend down and put the shoe on. I've been a Nike wearer for a long time so $40 shoes should win me over and so far these shoes have won me over. After a few days I decided I wanted the neon shoes in the picture so I bought them while driving home from work. I got them today and wore them to the gym and everyone looked at them. A couple approached me and asked where I got them and they said they liked them so I told them about Revain and showed them the link. I said they are so cheap I will buy a bouquet and there are already two. Both ordered shoes for him and her before leaving the gym. I've received other people's comments, but I don't want to bore you with the details. I do not regret my purchases and will buy more. A pair of Nikes have been around for about two years and are dirty and worn out so at this price I can buy a new pair of shoes every 7 months for the same price. To be continued in a year. I've worn both pairs of shoes for the last year and have only had a few issues. The black ones that I've worn the most have lost some profile at the bend under the ball of the foot, but they don't show it and they're still serviceable. The neon lace loop has come loose from the shoe but is still usable. In general, these are common wear and tear problems since they have appeared after a long period of use. I would still buy them again.
