Review on πŸ”₯ Non-Stick Silicone Release Paper for Easy Applique Transfer by Hannah Curi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great!

I have been using silicone release paper for book restoration for many years. I use a large piece as a base and then glue on some rice paper to replace the missing pieces. I place a second piece of silicone paper over the glued area and then use a hot iron to attach the second sheet to attach the rice paper to the original paper. The repair does not rest on a single leaf. I used archival paper and had many uses from the sheet. Recently they seem to have changed the paper supplied. It didn't work after one or two uses. So I decided to try this silicone release paper. Yes, it's thinner than the paper I'm used to. But as it turned out, this thinness was a real plus. My glued fillings were much better. Flat with better sealing. And the paper could be used over and over again before I started gluing anything. I am very happy with this paper.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
