It works like a charm on my older brother's laser printer

It works like a charm on my older brother's laser printer. I used to print on parchment paper, which was impractical because it wasn't thick enough. I use this paper for encaustic transfer, it prints well and comes out nice.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Reverse print

Almost identical to parchment paper

I bought this as a comforting alternative to parchment paper, but it's pretty much the same and reacts the same when exposed to heat (180 degrees or more). I've used this for non-transfer crafts so can't speak about transfer qualities - only non-stick qualities. Before you buy this product I highly recommend trying parchment paper as you can buy 50X more of it. at the same price at which silicone paper is sold.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some cons

Fits what I needed

Super thin material. This is the first time I've bought this. Works for what I needed. I use it to glue paper to a board. I use this as a barrier to fully glue my glued sheet before centering it where I need it and this paper allows me to peel off the paper and glue my page flawlessly. It actually works better after using it once, it becomes very rugged and not straight anymore which makes it easier for me to remove paper from it. So my goals can be very different from yours. Please.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Disappointing thickness, otherwise ok

These sheets almost certainly perform as advertised. However, the thickness given as 1/10" in the product listing is far from the truth - it ranges from 1/100 to 1/1000". much thinner. This makes it similar to readily available baking parchment paper (American type, not the low spec 'environmentally friendly' Swedish or Chinese paper). To be fair, the silicone in this paper is heavier than parchment, although I can't quantify that as I don't have an economical way to measure it. much thicker…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • So far so good

Worked great!

I have been using silicone release paper for book restoration for many years. I use a large piece as a base and then glue on some rice paper to replace the missing pieces. I place a second piece of silicone paper over the glued area and then use a hot iron to attach the second sheet to attach the rice paper to the original paper. The repair does not rest on a single leaf. I used archival paper and had many uses from the sheet. Recently they seem to have changed the paper supplied. It didn't…
