I like to switch to slippers when I come home from work and even with our dog in the garden. Our house has mostly hardwood floors, so I'm much more comfortable lounging around in slippers on my feet. But I really just like slippers that stay on foot and don't snag or slide off the heel. Otherwise it will be more uncomfortable and less ergonomic for me. I want to be able to walk around the house without slippers being a danger to me. Therefore, it is also important to stay on your foot and have a good grip. At least for my feet, they stay on, hold their shape and everyday use, and are more comfortable than my everyday athletic shoes that I actually wear to work. As with all slippers and shoes, the bottom padding will not break down over time. A new pair always looks particularly comfortable. They are doing pretty well at 6 months and still find me at 10 months but usually at 12 months I realize how flat and not as comfortable to walk and then it's time to throw in and put on a new pair. I went shopping to find slippers I liked and some of them didn't fit. But these are my favourites. I actually found them at a local mega retailer a while back and have bought 2 pairs in that time. By the time the second pair had worn badly, they were no longer in local stores even after I waited for the winter season to arrive. Thanks to Revain, I can continue to get my favorite slippers. When they went on sale I jumped and bought 8 pairs :) .
