I received this watch today and spent some time learning the features and settings with the manual. Man, this watch is amazing! I can already say that I will be wearing it WAY more than any other watch in my collection, no matter the price. The thing is just awesome. We'll have to wait and see how long the battery lasts. But I love all the features. I checked the compass and it is absolutely accurate compared to my iPhone compass. You can also calibrate the thermometer. When you wear a watch on your wrist, your body heat will distort the temperature reading, but you can calibrate it. I kept the watch on my wrist and adjusted the temperature reading to the temperature of my apartment. I was able to do this because I have a small thermometer in my apartment, so I knew exactly what temperature the clock should be at. The manual says you should take your temperature without wearing your watch to get an accurate reading. But the only time I'll ever want to take my temperature with my watch is when I'm wearing it on my wrist, I don't want to take the damn thing off every time. So the calibration feature is great. I just have to remember that now when I take my temperature without wearing a watch, it's inaccurate. The overall look of the watch is robust, beautiful and elegant at the same time. The only aesthetic downside is that the black background with the gray digital displays is difficult to read in low light and completely unreadable in the dark. And the neon backlight, which is beautiful, somehow doesn't illuminate the digital displays. If these watches had traditional gray background digital displays with black dials and solar power, this would literally be the perfect watch. There are solar powered G-Shocks, but they are more expensive. I can definitely recommend this watch.
