My highest recommendation for a product comes when I buy it again and in the case of this belt I now have a second one. A few years ago I became disillusioned with traditional belts. They typically lasted about a year before repeated flexing of the skin caused cracks. Also, the placement of the holes allowed for sizing in whole inch increments, and I often wished for some wiggle room. I tried a canvas strap for a while which solved the adjustment problem well, but the canvas started to wear out after less than a year and the quality wasn't there. Decided to try the ratchet strap and almost accidentally chose the black version of this model. It came with a one size belt, a nice buckle and good instructions on how to adjust the belt to your waist. Short version, since then I've been wearing them almost every working day and couldn't get enough of them. The ratchet allows for a more comfortable adjustment and the high quality leather gives the great look I was hoping for. After making sure the durability was what I was hoping for, I added a brown model to the stable. Highly recommended.
