Review on MSI Optix MPG321QRF QD 31.5" Monitor: Anti-Glare, Picture By Picture, Cable Lock Slot, OSD, IPS by Joseph Glowacki

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best monitor I've ever used.

Okay I looked for either 1440p at 165 or 240hz and tried all brands from Asus, LG, Gigabyte, Acer and Man, they all had the worst ips glow and blowouts. I originally ordered msi 1440p @ 240hz 27″ and Revane sent me this instead. Yes, I was pissed anyway, I tried it and wow, this monitor is awesome. Silky smooth with no tears, the Gigabyte had the most tears of all. The light hardly bleeds and the ips shines. The 16 dimming zones work very well. And it's HDR 600. Ps5 looks super bright! Really good and crisp, especially since it downscales 4K to 1440p. The only thing that can improve it is the presence of HDMI 2.1. Either way, this monitor was the best I've ever used and will definitely keep it for myself. I actually had to reorder it because I had to return the one I accidentally received and the second one is exactly the same with no backlight and minimal ips. I highly recommend this monitor. I want to try 4K 144Hz which they have but can't find in stock anywhere!

Pros
  • NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible - Eliminate screen tearing and stuttering by dynamically adjusting your display's refresh rate to match your GPU's frame rate.
Cons
  • Monitor knobs are too tight.
