Online says it will fit up to a 50" TV. I have an old Samsung 46". It will only work if the mounting holes on your TV are 17" or less apart (horizontally). My TV has 24" horizontal mounting holes. I wish it was stated in the description. Additional information (Note that everything was assembled and ready to hang when we realized the brackets were not spaced correctly): Mounting plate on the wall - very strong, easy to make if the studs are found in the wall, a good thing is if the studs are not perfectly centered they can be placed on top and once the TV is set up you can move it around, to keep it looking centered Hanging brackets are easy to attach Each arm has two hooks that pass through the mounting plate walk. One strange thing is that the hooks are independent of each other. I could understand 2 sets of 2 hooks then you can do them side by side. The outer hook has an easy-to-turn handle on both sides. The internal hooks require a screwdriver and socket to adjust - these are hard to come by when hanging. All they have to do is make a long screw (both sides) for the hooks to work with the handle. I would have sent it back as it didn't fit, but we had already drilled all the holes in the walls and our level of frustration was beyond measure. We used another TV we had and so far it has worked fine.
