Review on Govinda Brass Aladdin Chirag Burner by Dina Harvey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful, elegant, functional

I just took a lamp, put a cotton wick in it and poured olive oil on the base. I let the wick catch the oil and lit it. That is beautiful. It is thick solid brass, very elegant and durable design. It's built for life. The only problem with such oil lamps is that if you fill them too full, the oil will start dripping from the rim of the spout, so you have to be careful not to overfill. But they are definitely intended for oil where the wicks lay fairly flat because the oil is too heavy to pull up like kerosene and liquid paraffin. You'll get your money's worth!) and 3" tall. With the handle, it's about 6.5" long and about 3.5" tall. I'll probably order more since the price is right.
