Solid purchase so far. Time will tell more.

I bought one for myself and another for my mother along with 2 sets of 20 bare roots Everbearing Ozark Beauty Strawberry Plants. Mom and I are both fairly new to gardening, but our plants are flowering and look healthy, and we both love how they look.I haven't had any trouble with it falling over even though I have nothing anchoring it. It seems fairly sturdy when well-watered, and we have seen some good winds here since I set it up and my toddler regularly pokes at it.I'm really wondering how…

Pros
  • L:12" W:12" H: 28"; Soil Volume: 24 Quarts - Freestand anywhere or easily create grow towers off the ground using 3/4" Pipe.
Cons
  • It's difficult to clean

Smaller than expected

It is a lot smaller than you’d expect it to be. You’ll have to squish the smallest size Bonnie herbs to fit. When purchasing there was only one size option, a lot of photos show this product in a slightly larger size. Definitely should have gotten a tape measure out to get a better idea! I found out right after ordering these that Dollar General has the same style planter trays with larger circular openings for $1 each, $5 total for the same amount of larger trays. You live and learn!

Pros
  • Offers maximum utilization of space, making it perfect for small gardens and patios
Cons
  • The pots don't have enough soil capacity to support larger plants

Tower of fruity goodness

It works as designed. I thought I had bought the bigger one (wider), but this one works too. It can dry out but this may be of need of better planting mix and/or put a bubbler waterer. I put a tub in the middle to help keep it centered and may run a mini water line for easier watering. When you use the hose - you can over blast the dirt/plants out of it. My strawberries do like it; they hop from area to area. :)

Pros
  • Flow Through Design - Prevents Over Watering or Root Rot - Just Water 1 Top Pot & Take Care of 20 Plants - Only Mr Stacky
Cons
  • It's not user-friendly for those with physical limitations

So Far So Good: my feedback

Terra Cotta is ORANGE, I saw others mention it but thought it wouldn't be that bad but hello traffic cone orange strawberry planter. I planted the top half with bareroot pineberries and the bottom half with bareroot strawberries. My hope is that the birds wouldn't notice the red berries as much on the bottom. I have had to water each compartment as I can't seem to water it enough for it to drain to the middle or bottom without washing out the dirt/plants at the top, but since I got it for space

Pros
  • Works as described
Cons
  • The product is not very durable

Great plant holder best in my review

Review showed this as a pot for holding vegetables. I used it as a pot for planting flowers in my garden. Very strong, even with the layers of dirt. Very easy to assemble and easy access for watering different levels. Only change I made, was to drill holes in the drip plate at the bottom. Because of different levels of watering, the bottom row gathered to much water in the drip plate. Drilled holes so that water would run out and it works great.

Pros
  • The size is ideal for a small space. Not sure how durable it will be but I’m willing to give it a try.
Cons
  • It requires a lot of attention and maintenance to maintain

Perfect size for small deck👍

Great for small space. However is very heavy when planted and falls apart when moving. After two seasons I solved all problems by placing on wheeling platform AND most importantly….as planting, I place a 3/4 inch pvc pipe (you can buy the exact length needed) down the center of all 5 levels. Works perfectly to keep levels from sliding off! Also, put netting into each section so that soil doesnt fall through drainage holes when watered.

Pros
  • Includes: (5) Terracotta Orange Color Planters & Bottom Saucer - Fast Shipping & Great Gifts
Cons
  • The water drainage is not adequate

As a way to grow strawberries in containers, not sure if these provide enough soil volume for the plants. Still testing to see how the plants will do over time with that limited space. It does seem a bit small. But stacking the trays just doesn't work if you want the plants to get adequate sunlight--only the top tray will get enough. Too bad, because it would sure save space.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The stacking process can be difficult for those who aren't experienced

You get what you pay for

These are okay. Just okay. I bought them for strawberries, but the honest truth is that I ended up taking them apart and using them as single planters. When they're stacked, it's hard to water them and the water doesn't really go where it's needed.Otherwise they're okay, but it's definitely a case of getting what I paid for. It's better than not having any planters at all, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Pros
  • Good for strawberries and maybe greens
Cons
  • My strawberries didn’t do to well with these trays.

Interesting design in my review

At first look, this looks like a really sound design for backyard raised garden. Upon setting it up up; however. you realize some issues. Now, I'm reviewing the five tier stack so please be aware I am reviewing a tall setup. Very quickly you realize that this structure either needs to be placed in a wind protected area or support it with and anchor -- in this case a rod run down the center. This, unfortunately for me, was a deal killer as I bought two and planned to use them on an open concrete

Pros
  • Perfect for all my strawberry plants
Cons
  • The pots are small in size

Very pleased with my purchase

These are exactly as pictured. I already planted my strawberries, and it's all looking great. The structure is sturdy and lightweight, so I am considering adding a couple of extra levels. Very pleased and would definitely recommend these to others.

Pros
  • Reduces water waste as the soil absorbs all the water you add
Cons
  • It's an eco-unfriendly product due to its plastic construction

Makes a nice flower arrangement in my flowerbed.

I planted petunias in this gem and it added color to my flowerbed. Since I am in a rental unit I couldn't actually plant flowers but this stacking flower pot followed the rules and gave me some colorful flowers, too. So glad I found it!

Pros
  • Suitable for a wide range of plants, not just strawberries
Cons
  • It can be difficult to control the temperature for optimum plant growth

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A bit too lightweight.

Easily tipped over in the wind, even though I had it gently secured to the railings. Made quite a mess. It might be good on an indoor or screened in porch, but it just didn’t work out for me.

Pros
  • Provides a fun project for families, allowing you to bond over gardening
Cons
  • It can be difficult to harvest the strawberries as they are too high up

Easy to use, move, stack and unstack

I didn't have a place to out my strawberry tower and was nervous about the weight, but taking apart and moving tier by tier is super easy if needed. My strawberries seem to be enjoying their home as well. Can't wait to see how we do!

Pros
  • Protects your plants from pests and disease, so you don't have to spend money on pesticides
Cons
  • The shallow pots make it difficult to grow some varieties of strawberries

Space saver for my deck.

This lightweight and sturdy stackable planter Works great! I was able to stack three for strawberries and two for flowers. I just needed to add another drainage pan under the flowers, since I used the one that came with mine for the strawberries.

Pros
  • I'm growing strawberries on my deck. Lovely addition to my backyard decor
Cons
  • Hard to water my plants. Have to water each individual part.

Color is very orange

The color is very orange and not terra cotta as it looks. I did end up returning this and purchasing it in green because of the color being so orange. Other than the color, it was as described. I have just planted the green one and am very happy with it so far. I thought that it might be too unsteady as it is lightweight plastic, but so far so good! I planted a variety of herbs and some strawberry plants that were already started.

Pros
  • Ideal for those with busy schedules, as the self-watering system allows you to focus on other tasks
Cons
  • The product can become an eyesore in a garden

As advertised - my new review

This is indeed the whole stack and base plate. They stack upon each other easily and sturdily. I have it beside the house and it hasn't tipped over in the wind. The bottom pot locks onto the plate. The plastic is thick and sturdy. I can see using this for many seasons. The pots are plenty deep for annuals. I like that there are 4 pods vs 3 since most annuals come in 4 packs. It's easy to plan how many packs to get. It also seems to retain moisture. I water each pot individually to make sure…

Pros
  • Can be used indoors or outdoors, depending on your preference
Cons
  • The plastic material can become brittle and crack over time

Great Planter for Strawberries

This is a great planter. It was very simple to set up. We did have to use care when filling the pots as some of the drain holes were rather large and the soil would fall through. The different levels have worked great for rooting the strawberry runners in their own section. The bottom pan does collect water but that is to be expected.

Pros
  • Comes with a user manual, offering helpful tips and advice on how to get the best results
Cons
  • It may require fertilization that is not suitable for other plants

Better Than Clay - my new review

This is the best strawberry planter I've ever used. It's attractive, durable, and the parts stack together nicely. It does, however, suffer from the usual problem with strawberry planters, in that each area has barely enough space for the plant's roots. If you get this, keep in mind you'll need to water your plants pretty much daily. On the plus side, water doesn't evaporate through the plastic, so the plants dry out more slowly than with an earthenware pot. Clay strawberry pots basically bake…

Pros
  • Ideal for gardeners of all skill levels, even if you're just getting started
Cons
  • It's difficult to move or adjust the pots once assembled

Great idea, but wish it was bigger

This is a great product for growing strawberries in a small space. I purchased 20 strawberry plants and planted them as I stacked up the pots. I didn't really have to use that much soil as the space is not that large and whatever was in with the plants filled up most of it. I just had to fill in around the edges and in the middle. I do wish that the planting area was a bit larger. It almost seemed as if I had to squeeze the plants into the pots. I hope there's enough room in there for the…

Pros
  • Controls soil pH levels, ensuring your strawberries always have the right nutrients
Cons
  • The pots can become too crowded, leading to disease and pest problems

Don't have one!: my feedback

Haven't used this yet. Seems a little light duty but once I've planted something in it I'll better know what quality it is.

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to move around, allowing you to follow the sunlight
Cons
  • It can be difficult to find replacement parts
