Apparently John Deere hires Neanderthals with pneumatic wrenches to tighten their original oil filters. I first bought an oil filter wrench with two handles. It made a remark but slipped and bent the sides of the filter. Then I bought one of those oil filter caps that can be turned with a 1/2" socket or wrench. It also slipped and got me nowhere. Then I bought one of those strap wrenches. Good with welded sand. but it slipped through , without moving the filter. Then I bought this ARES key. It took a lot of strength to loosen the filter. BUT this tool will definitely grab the filter, which is the key to removing the filter. So I went through all this spending Made trial and error so you don't have to buy this one.
