The thing works perfectly. It took me quite a while to install it properly. The secret is to keep the tire centered on the rim, at least on the rim of my particular car. This is the smallest diameter section and it is easier to get the edge of the tire over the outer rim where it is largest versus the tire section with the smallest rim diameter. It holds the air well for about 2 weeks. I find that you can buy a whole wheel at hardware stores for just a few bucks more, but that seems like a waste of material - I only modified what I needed.
