After 8+ years of walking my dog, I can FINALLY enjoy walking! I put the Haitian harness on my dog and miraculously he didn't pull; she seemed to know instinctively that it was impossible to pull! I will say she didn't like it and she shook her head when I put it on for the first time but I just talked to her calmly and told her what a good girl she was and said no when she put her head down shook. My dog is afraid of everything and would pull me back and forth the whole time and almost pull me out on several occasions (despite being a small dog). But not with Halti chassis! She can walk without jerking me when trucks pass and when we pass houses under construction (nail guns used to really make her pull). After the 2nd day with the harness she got used to it perfectly! I know others have said that their dogs could pull their noses off with their paws, but luckily I didn't have that problem. I think the key is finding the right size; You don't want it to be too tight or too loose, so pay close attention to the size chart. I am very happy with this purchase and I strongly encourage you to try it yourself.
