The pre-drilled holes in the cross member did not align well. It has absolutely no storage space. Why does this question have to be rated with stars at all? This is a stool, not a closet. I didn't expect him to keep anything. I expected to be able to step on it and grab things that are beyond my normal reach. It absolutely did! If that meant "now you can access the top shelves of your closets," then yes, it added tons of storage space. In the same way it is also a cleaning product, a curtain holder and a seat. Haven't tried cooking with it yet but I'm sure if I do it will work exactly as intended. I also predict that throwing it in my fireplace will ignite it, generating heat. Is there anything it can't do?
