They are perfect for the PlayStation VR headset. You don't use the microphone on the headset when using it with a VR headset. You use the microphone when using the double whammy controller. The sound is much better than the headphones that came with it. Very comfortable, very good sounding quality product and terribly hard to beat the Revain price. There are customers who complain about sound and cable connections. I almost sent mine back at first thinking they were defective. When changing the cable length, however, I noticed that I hadn't pressed the cable connectors together tightly enough. I think it's because they were new, or maybe quality control, but I had to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the connectors to connect and snap into place. Once this was implemented the sound was great and everything was fine. If you have a PSVR headset, you need these headphones, not others.
