online shopping for basics as a fat girl is tough, and I fully expected these to, at best, kinda sorta fit. Turns out the size recommendation was pretty spot on and my size 20ish to 24ish butt was perfectly happy with a 4XL. A 3XL would probably have been fine too, but I prefer having some wiggle room over a sleek fit.My only complaint is that these have zero resistance to stains. to start, each pair "bleached” almost immediately (which didn’t happen with other undies I wore in the same time span); one pair was completely ruined by a minor menstrual tracking error.I’ve been bleeding on stuff since 3rd grade and cold water, soap, and salt have eradicated all traces of my uterine lining from countless pairs of dollar store granny panties and high end lingerie sets. But the stain set immediately on these pair and never came out. oxiclean and shout had no effect, nor did re-soaking and machine washing on a cold heavy-soil cycle. So while these are the most comfortable casual lounging around undies I’ve ever owned, I don’t like the idea of having to handle them like La Perla in order to keep them in decent condition.
