I had to purchase this for a leg vein procedure. My doctor recommended this brand to me and I'm so glad he did. I was expecting a much heavier stocking and it feels a little more durable than tights. Normally, stockings will roll down to the knees in the first few hours of wearing. They stay on top from the moment you put them on. until you take them off. They may seem a little pricey, but if you buy them from a specialty store they can cost $15-20 more. At least they have them in Atlanta. Before you buy them you need to take a few measurements to make sure they fit well. It was also suggested that they would be useful to wear on long dresses. Flights over 2-3 hours and they are comfortable to wear during the flight.
