Absolutely no amplification of the FM signal

The FM station I like has a bad signal at my house so I ordered it to help out in my truck. It wasn't particularly easy to set up, but when I turned it on, the signal strength on this station was zero. I tested this by temporarily hooking up the FM signal booster I use around the house which instantly connected the transmitter and many others I couldn't get before. useless exercise. Note: All AM signals have been completely excluded.
