After switching to aluminum free deodorants 2 years ago I have found this deodorant works for me and my heavily scented armpits. The best thing is that it's cheap. My first tip is that these non-aluminum deodorants seem to be a little less effective than what I'm used to, so I use this product in combination with a drop of coconut oil applied first. Coconut oil eliminates existing odors and prolongs the effectiveness of deodorants. Coconut oil alone isn't enough, at least for me, and sometimes I feel like I'm just barely getting along with a mineral-based deodorant, so together they work like a charm. My second piece of advice is that for me, any deodorant that may or may not contain aluminum wears off over time, so I'm switching to Thai crystal for a while. If this then loses its effectiveness, I switch back to this one. I read this because the ratio of different bacteria changes over time when you use deodorant.
