I take a lot of photos and videos and upload them to my computer via a USB 2.0 speed cable. Many professionals recommend USB 3 because of the speed advantage, but most cameras only support USB 2.0. One option is the 3.0 version of the card reader, although it increases the process of ejecting the card from the camera and inserting it into the card reader/returning to the camera. However, the speed advantage is significant, especially if you have a lot of photos/videos. The UNITEK reader is attractive (not plastic) and works fine for me on Windows 10. The non-detachable USB cable is a bit short and you have to insert the card upside down. However, given the price, performance, and good looks, this is a solid choice for those who need a card reader.
