My husband has a really sore shoulder from playing baseball when he was young, he should have fixed it but they didn't fix it years ago (Tommy John surgery). It hangs under the other shoulder. His shoulder hurts a lot and I've noticed that he can't stand up straight because his shoulder hurts. He doesn't go to the doctor, you stubborn old fool. When his neck also started to hurt and he started walking like a little stooped old man, I started looking for a support that would help him keep his shoulder in the right position. After a long search I bought this one. I thought he would have trouble wearing it but he actually tried it on the day it arrived. He has enough weight to keep his shoulders pulled back instead of dangling forward. It didn't lift him, nothing but surgery will fix that part. He felt relieved almost immediately. He wears it when working in the yard and when driving his truck. Behind the wheel, the nerves in the neck and shoulder were severely pinched and the arm twitched. Now he doesn't mind driving. I don't know why he doesn't wear it to work where he still does the hard work, did I mention he's stubborn? We are both very happy with this postural brace and she is upright again.
