Overall this is a great monitor with good focus resolution. The colors are pretty accurate. I spent extra money on the SDI version of this monitor, only to find out later that I couldn't convert my camera's HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI input to the monitor's SDI output to another source. This is a big omission IMO. Had I known, I would have just bought the HDMI-only version and saved some money. Now I need to use another HDMI to SDI converter. The monitor is very bright. I haven't tested it outdoors. It is better to lower the brightness indoors to extend battery life and get a more accurate exposure.
