We got this as a birthday gift and I'm hesitant to give it away. It just doesn't seem safe for a child. The carpet is nice and soft, and that's okay. But the effort, yes, not very much. Two crossing arcs are a problem. They are not stable at all. They are spring loaded for springy stiffness, not sure if it's metal, nylon rods or what's inside. But they arrive almost rolled up and when you set the bows they just roll back up and fold/roll onto the floor mat - these bows want to stay rolled up, not straight. The two arch pieces have sticky ridges that cling to the underside of the floor mat, and the whole thing just doesn't want to stick to its structure. It's all filled up nicely, but it just kind of wants to curl up. Can't recommend it.
