I ordered this dress in a size large. I am 5 ft 8” and about 170 pounds and large size dress fits perfect. True to size. The first ruffle starts right below the bust so it is perfect for someone with a larger waistline and tummy. The ruffles fall in the right spots to disguise any excess weight around the tummy. It’s 65 percent cotton and 35 percent polyester. I’d prefer more cotton because it breathes but I get that polyester doesn’t wrinkle. I haven’t worn it in the extreme heat yet so I’m not sure if it’s going to keep me cool. It’s really an attractive dress and I’m pleased with it. I ordered the one with sleeves also.
