I bought these fine mesh nets to catch small fish and tiny shrimp, but the deep pocket is really VERY deep - almost 3 inches deep. For large networks, this depth is small. This is a problem, but a definite problem for small shrimp or fry as they are difficult to pull out once the net is folded. requires additional effort due to the deep pocket. So unless you have a particular need for a deep pocket, look elsewhere. Now I'm using reliable Tetra shrimp nets again. Not recommended.
