dude let me tell you this makes a BIG BIG BRIGHTNESS especially when I'm working off-road in darker conditions. Yes as you can see it works great in my 1220m flash point as you can see in the photos. I really can't say more but I'll give you the pros and cons I guess. Pros: Super bright, which is what I need. Light on the FRONT of the body! Links. Low cost but by no means low quality. It's well built. "Cons": It's big and tall. It's ok for me, but for others who think they're getting a standard size, think again. That's a big bump! So fellow photographers in the Revain world, you CAN use this light in your studio flashes as I can clearly see in the photos. However, look at the close-up and you will see that I ordered and am using an extension cord. DO NOT mount this directly as the flash will waste and burn it. Get this extension and you will be fine. This is not a dimmable version BUT for those using the light to turn it off after it pops it will. Consumes no energy at all, especially for you full of poppers. If you don't mind having those swap .50 calibers on your flash to make it look like a big MG42 with a big barrel, go get it! I have a cooler version, not the brownish yellow 5500. Still a fully balanced white in camera.
