Braava read the pads and knew it was a wet cleaning pad. The pads attach easily and seem to pick up dirt. Cleaning towels after use were ok. The biggest problem and hurdle for us was that the pads felt too thin and Braava broke our floor while cleaning. It sounded like the plastic was scratching the floor. We have PVC laminate and it is very strong but it can lift softer wood when used. Be careful. In any case, Braava was too expensive to risk damage by using regular pads and saved about $10. You may just have to buy their reusable brand. Disposable items are too expensive to use daily or weekly.
