The product idea is great. I wanted to better understand how it works. So I tried it myself with a test using a different email address. Everything seems to be anonymous as none of my details have surfaced. When someone enters an ID, they enter their email address and receive a chat link. From there they can type messages to the owner. The owner can also enter messages in reply. The chat link appears to be permanent as you can send a message and check the same link again. It looks like you have to provide a bounty, which is fair, but I understand they set some kind of bounty beforehand. My main concern was that it was truly anonymous, and it seems true that neither the finder nor the owner will know anything about the other person unless you choose to mention your details in the chat. The labels themselves appear to be quite durable and being laser engraved means you don't have to worry about the lettering coming off. You will be asked to provide your address and phone number when registering, so I had some concerns at first.
