I'm a big fan of Irish whiskey. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to travel to Dublin, Ireland and visit Bow Street Distillery, the origin of Jameson (and other related Irish whiskeys). During the tour and for a while afterwards we sat with one of their "whisky experts" and learned how to use the "nose cannula". I still have some 18 Jameson Whiskey left which was gifted to me in early 2014 and this glass definitely provided the opportunity I wanted to obtain the maximum aroma and flavor and also avoided any dilution of the whiskey with ice to even infuse the whisky little to cool. . Can't comment on durability as I've only received the glasses in the last 3 days but they seem quite durable and can last a long time. I look forward to using these stainless steel nasal cannulas in addition to the glass ones I have. It's worth upgrading the premium whiskeys you enjoy consuming.
