This is a nice hammock but the huge size is a little over the top and I'm usually all for it but it was kind of over the top if you noticed. The couple in the photo are resting sideways beautifully, but their heads are lower than their feet, which is fine as long as you don't mind all the blood rushing to your head. My wife and I ended up trying lying on opposite sides, which is fine too, as long as you don't mind having your feet next to your face and you're the same weight. We added our 10 year old skinny son on the other side and he basically manages to crush the one in the middle. Also good if you are not in the middle of it. I bought this hoping my family of 5 (all slim) would move "comfortably" sideways, we were pretty maxed out or were weak at 3 and it wasn't exactly "comfortable". Of course you can put it on as normal and when you do it's comfortable, but there's so much material that it ends up wrapping you up, which is pretty comfortable for keeping the flies off you, but other than that it's a bit annoying. Although my kids wouldn't agree with me, they seemed to enjoy it. I think it reminded her of the feeling of being changed as a baby. So this feature might work for you too if you like that sort of thing. If you pack 2 adults the normal way you essentially get 2 hammocks in 1 with a little mesh wall separating you from you and your hammock partner, which of course is fine if you don't want to touch that person. I think I'd go down a size next time, the build is amazingly solid and beautiful and they said it's jumbo so can't really blame them. it also entertained me and my family for a few hours at my expense. I would recommend this hammock to any overweight person who has set a world record.
