I ordered these because there were no dixie paper plates in stock in that size. I thought Glad was a brand so they would be just as good. Well I was wrong. They are very fragile and you need to use two for strength to hold a hot dog and a potato salad. Also, worst of all, I've used them to cook bacon in the microwave, which I often do with Dixie plates. I had some paper towels between the plate and the bacon. The plastic coating on the plate stuck to the paper towel, merging with it. I was afraid to eat bacon because the plastic coating on the plate fused to the paper towel. I am very disappointed in these plates. They are beautiful but look way better than their quality.
