Yes, the lid is a bit difficult to put on, but if you hit all the corners with it you can sometimes get it on tighter. Anyway, for those wondering if you can remove the words YES YOU CAN! You can remove them with acetone (I just bought it at the drug store). I put some on a cotton swab and applied it to the letters until they were covered. I left it on for 3 minutes and then wiped it off. Sometimes you have to fiddle a little. Cons: That gray haze all over the metal, it also gets removed with acetone BUT, I liked it! It just got a little shinier than before. So I just rubbed it all over and it looks amazing. Words on both sides, but if you want to take them off, just repeat on the other side. I bought two of these for a project and found them to be great value for money. It works. And now you know how to quickly get rid of "bread" words on the sides. PS: don't forget to do all this outside so you don't get mad, yuck!
