Review on Castaway Organics Worm Composting Worms by Yvonne Roybal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This worm food is delicious!

I have worms in my garden. I have used compost in the past and the worms have been fine but they have not been happy and sometimes complained about the quality of the feed. About every 3 weeks I take this worm food, mix in about 1/3 farm grade cornmeal and sprinkle on the raised bed and use a small plastic rake to mix the topsoil. I also add some coffee grounds every 3 weeks just for fun. Worms are bigger, fatter and happier. No more complaints, no more posters, no more union threats of strikes, strikes, etc. There are so many worms here I have to dig them up and move them to other beds. When they get too full, they start complaining again and their average size starts to decrease. Be sure to monitor the temperature of your worm farm/bed and keep it between 60-85 F. Below 40 and above 95 can kill your worms.

  • Everything is fine!
