Really nice. in my review

Paid $500 for it from the epson site refurbished. Accurate color and it is definitely bright in a small room. At 100 inches 1000 lumens is quite a lot. Bright cinema and cinema modes very bright at night.Dynamic contrast is good and not too distracting. Black levels are washed out and contrast on the low end is crushed. I guess to be expected from a portable projector.lens is very, very good and really sharpI don't know if it's the refurbished unit I got but it is louder than expected. Still quieter than other projectors. When lowering the brightness at night to eco mode which I often do the noise level drops to almost nonexistent.Overall good for $500 and if you don't need portable there are probably better projectors in the refurbished range for around the same. Have not looked at bulb projectors. The ef12 lacking netflix I find it to be not worth the upgrade as you will also get really high input lag compared to the ef11 which is usable for gaming
