More versatile than canned air!

Using compressed air is cumbersome, wasteful and expensive. I was curious to see how the electric air atomizer would compare. It turns out that this product is actually much more versatile than compressed air. My first test was to blow dirt out of several keyboards and then use compressed air which didn't blow any additional dust or dirt. There are some very noticeable differences between a blower and canned air. An electric fan moves MUCH more air. This contributes to faster dust removal. It can be used in any position while the air chamber must be kept upright or you will end up with an icy straw spray. An electric blower is great for cleaning large items and the underside of items by holding the blower sideways or upside down. Another advantage is that you can blow air continuously instead of using compressed air in short bursts. This came in handy when blowing dust out of the air filters of an electrostatic oven. I used a blower to blow more dust out of the filters even after vacuuming them. I've also used a blower to dust some furniture and sculpture surfaces and it worked well. Sometimes with canned compressed air I worry about accidentally damaging things with Freeze Spray. I was surprised how long the charge lasted. The device came with a (fully?) charged battery and I used it for maybe a full 15 minutes before it died. About 30 seconds before the end of charging, the fan will slow down and then turn off. You can still get a few pulses from him after he shuts down. This is the behavior I was hoping for, not a gradual slowdown over several minutes. Basically, you get full power until you have to reload it again. The charger is well designed: the indicator light on the charger is red when it's charging and green when it's charged (or not connected to a device). Haven't used an electric hair dryer yet, but it can definitely be used. for drying the inside of narrow-necked bottles after washing. The blower feels good in hand, has good build quality, feels solid, and the knob has good travel.
