Don't waste your time with this hair straightener. The steam option is useless if you have curly hair, all it does is turn it into a partially puffy mess. Just don't worry at all. *Update: I apologize for not being able to update this sooner. It's been a while since my original review, but since then. The manufacturer contacted me and sent a replacement. The first must have been defective, the new one works much better and I haven't had any other issues with this product.
