Ideal for making mead
Very nice clear glass, easy to read hydrometer. Looks good on the table. I screwed the plastic base onto the wooden platform for more stability. The glass test tube is easy to remove and clean/disinfect. The areometer is supplied in a practical protective cover and is clearly marked for all brewing steps. I definitely recommend this combination. for home brewers. Precise and functional.
